Kyle B. Another shoot for the Journal Newspaper

So i had gotten a email from the journal news paper,
and they wanted me to shoot more sports, so i was happy to say yes to shoot for them
they had ask me to go the the Metro Finals Over at Chief sealth and take a picture of a outstanding runner name Kyle Byrns, He is the Metro 800 Champ, he out run all the other opponent buy 6 seconds!!! thats amazing!

Franklin Prom

Another Prom shoot, this time it was for franklin. My friend Denny ye, gave me a call asking me if i wanted to shoot his group and pictures of him and his girlfriend, And how could i say no? Denny ye is one of my good friends so i always love to help out a friend, epically on a moment like this. For the shoot we went to a location right before the Green bridge on beacon, i don't know the name but its going to be a place i come back for sure. This proms shoot wen extremely well, i had 4 couples to shoot, some of them ere hard but some were just very camera shy, so it took them awhile to warm up to the camera, but after that they took the best pictures ;D

After shooting this event, and using my beauty dish, I'm starting to want a Large Octobox for couples type of shoot so i can light up more people and light up more area with it, and the octobox will produce even more softer light!

Marie is one of my good friends when i was in high school. we even had a few classes together like yearbook! one of the classes that had made me pursuit my career and passion of photography to the next level ;). Marie will be attend School in Oregon next year. As for the photo shoot, we went to Carkeek park which is right of greenwood.
It is a amazing place for sunsets and just relax and taking pictures of course!
At carkeek park there was a green walking bridge that was very nice but it was very busy so we didn't have a chance to take snap shots there, so we went to the rail road tracks! On the Rail Road Tracks we had to be extra careful due to the fact that on coming trains still run!. After the rail road tracks we did some shots on the beach and finally shots on the grass!
Marie was a great Model, and her smile just tips the picture off to spark!

Anh Tran & Danang Le Part 2

The first time we had the engagement shoot we had too much fun, so i had ask Anh Tran & Danang Le Part 2 if they wanted to do a part two for there engagement shoot! They were more than happy to volunteer for a second shoot. That said we went to alki to do a total different type of shoot. The first shoot was more of your casual normal pose type of things. So this time it was the more relax and real laid back, they both came dress in jeans. instead of doing the typical pose we just had a lot of fun. We were doing pose that had to deal with Tran running in the air, so which makes it look like DN is carrying him! Oh man it was so much fun! for a matter of fact They had too much fun that they forgot that i was here ;) which made my job easier to capture a picture,

This shoot was very fun, Anh Tran & Danang Le were energetic clients. I wish i had a sidekick that day to hold a reflector so i can get some of the shadow out of there face, and i also wish i check the tides so i know where its low tides or high tides, I got my Socks wet because it was high tides and for a good shot i needed to go in the water.
But as a photographer you must do what it takes for that great shot. This time i only had to sacrifice my wet feet.

Gully *Granite* Raza & Jennifer Sus part 2

I totally forgot to mention that Gully is a bboy (break dancer) and his bboy name is Granite which means solid as a rock ;) he is apart of the massive monkey crew!
Massive monkeys is a of the great breaking crew from Seattle that ever got big. they have been feature in many shows and even complete on ABDC! since Granite was a bboy i had to use his unique skills and use them in the shots. During the shoot i also did a few three pieces sets.

For example a picture of gully doing a bboy pose.
1. The first picture is him getting ready to go up
2. is where Jennifer is trying to catch his legs and get him set
3. The final image we wanted.

Gully *Granite* Raza & Jennifer Susi

Another Engagement shoot! which means another great adventure with two people with Diana (d300). For this shoot i had a different approach i wanted them to feel like i wasn't there so we did a lot of poses where they weren't looking at me, and i wanted this shoot to feel like i was really capturing a moment in there life. Pretty much how they would act if i wasn't there, walk on the beach and etc. Hence the day being really windy i did not bring any special type of lighting. This shoot was all natural light, which is not a bad way of shooting ;) with natural light there is so much more type of editing i can do, making it black or white making things pop. the list is endless, enough with the talk truong, we want to see the pictures!

Prom Candids

Prom Candids! What can i say, i love doing this type of shoot, Going around taking pictures of people having a great time. Nothing gets better than that as a photography! getting to talk to people, meet new people and just shooting ;) gotta love it ;)
Ingraham high school had hire me to shoot there candids because yuen lui doesn't shoot candids no more, thats fine with me because than i have a open window to shoot ;) thanks yuen lui! The Event was a great success once again. All the Ladies were in fabulous Dress the males were looking quite handsome. The view was unbelievable!
Every one there was having a good time so taking pictures of people smiling couldnt be any easier ;)

Shooting ingrahams prom made me kinda feel like i was shooting a wedding ;) it got me all excited ;)

Thins i need to do next time! Bring extra extra battery / and charge the old ones..
i wish i knew where all my battery went. Those enelooop weren't cheap ;(

having a second body would be great!!

Ingraham Prom Couples

Ingraham Prom couples shoot was a very exciting shoot ;) I had the honor to shoot couples in fabulous dress and guys looking like gentlemen. Ingraham had there venue in downtown so i needed a place where it was going to be easy for the guys to go the venue and dinner, so we thought of kerry park! a great park in queen anne! This place was pack, while i was shooting there was 3 weddings coming in all different times, i didn't expected it to be this busy! but it didn't brother me much. i had made arrangements with people to come up and shoot. hence the bad weather i end up only have 2 groups come and shoot with me. but two is better than nothing. the shoot went very well, other than the nasty clouds and the heavy wind ;) other than that everything went well ;) The pictures turn out great ;) background looks so nice it looks fake.

1st Engagement Shoot! Anh Tran & Danang Le

My very first Engagement shoot!
i was so excited to shoot it! before the shoot i had done a extensive amount of research on what gear to bring and how i wanted the pictures to turn out. but after a a long research i decided to bring my favorite set up, (check setup) The shoot went great! i had a fabulous time shooting. The couples had a general idea of how they wanted to pose which was a great plus and great help! so they had a pose in mind and i just had to tweet it up and make it a good shot ;) Overall it was a great shoot! Couples were great to work with, both were high in energy just as i was it! it was a great day!!! i am planing to get more engagement books.
